1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Companion OPS, a service provided by Companion Technology LLC. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before proceeding with our services.

2. Description of Services

Companion OPS provides software consulting services, including audits of software teams' deployment pipelines, organizational structures, and codebases. Our Phase 1 Program typically lasts 5-6 weeks and includes:

- Interviews with team leads, project managers, and active contributors

- Analysis of team structure, deployment pipeline, and codebase

- Use of CodeScene to check Code Health and identify deployment frequency bottlenecks

3. Client Responsibilities

3.1 Access: Clients must provide at least read-only access to their codebase, team communication channels, and project management systems.

3.2 Cooperation: Clients are expected to cooperate with Companion Technology LLC staff during the consultation process.

3.3 Implementation: Clients are responsible for implementing any recommendations provided by Companion OPS.

4. Data Privacy and Confidentiality

4.1 Data Usage: All information provided by clients is used solely for the purpose of delivering our services and will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.

4.2 Data Retention: Upon completion of the contract, Companion Technology LLC will delete all proprietary customer code and documents from our systems.

4.3 Access Removal: Clients are responsible for removing Companion Technology LLC's access to sensitive systems after the contract period.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership: All information provided privately to clients by Companion Technology LLC is considered the intellectual property of Companion Technology LLC, unless it is created by a third party or has been publicly published by Companion Technology LLC.

5.2 Use of Deliverables: Clients may retain deliverables but may not sell or copy the process or information to other parties.

6. Payment and Refund Policy

6.1 Payment Terms: Full payment for Companion OPS services is due before the commencement of any service. Services will not begin until payment has been received in full.

6.2 Payment Methods: Companion Technology LLC accepts bitcoin, debit, and credit card. Details for payment will be provided upon agreement to engage our services.

6.3 Refund Guarantee: Companion OPS offers a 200% money-back guarantee if requested within the first 21 days of service, and a 100% money-back guarantee if requested within 30 days of purchase.

6.4 Cancellation: If a client cannot complete the service for practical reasons (not due to dissatisfaction with the service), they may request a 100% refund within 30 days of purchase.

6.5 Late or Failed Payments: In the event of a late or failed payment, Companion Technology LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate services until payment is received.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 General Liability: Companion Technology LLC is not responsible for any downtime or problems that may arise from clients attempting to implement our recommendations.

7.2 Specific Industries: For medical software companies or companies whose products may affect people's lives, Companion Technology LLC is not liable for any direct code changes.

7.3 Client Systems: Companion Technology LLC is not liable for any broken software or system issues on the client's side.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes or complaints should be addressed directly to Companion Technology LLC. We are committed to resolving issues and will honor our refund policy as stated in Section 6.

9. Modifications to Terms

Companion Technology LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
